Nigeria has recorded 12 new coronavirus cases bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 151.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced this in a tweet on Wednesday.
It said the new cases are spread across Edo, Osun and Ekiti states.
According to NCDC, As at 12:30 pm 1st April, there are;
151 confirmed cases
9 discharged
2 deaths

FCT- 28
Osun- 14
Oyo- 8
Ogun- 4
Edo- 4
Kaduna- 3
Enugu- 2
Bauchi- 2
Ekiti- 2
Rivers-1
Benue- 1
Osun recorded nine new cases, Edo two, and Ekiti one.
“Twelve new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria; 9 in Osun, 2 in Edo and 1 in Ekiti State As at 12:30 pm 1st April there are 151 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Nine have been discharged with two deaths,” the tweet read.
Of the 151 confirmed cases, Lagos state has 82, FCT has 28, and Osun has 14 cases.
Oyo has eight cases, while Ogun and Edo states have four cases each.
Kaduna has three, while Ekiti, Enugu, and Bauchi states have two cases each.
Rivers and Benue have recorded one case each.
Nine persons earlier diagnosed with the infection have been discharged.
Nigeria has recorded two deaths from the disease so far.
