New COVID-19 patient arrived through British Airways – Lagos Health Commissioner

The Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, said on Tuesday that the new case of Coronavirus came in through British Airways.

Nigeria recorded another case of COVID-19 in Lagos State, Nigeria on Tuesday.

The affected person is a 30-year-old Nigerian lady, who returned from the United Kingdom on March 13.

The Ministry of Health said she is now at Mainland General Hospital receiving treatment.

Abayomi said passengers on the same flight with the UK-returnee should stay at home and self-isolate themselves for 14 days.

“Contact tracing of all passengers and all those who may have come in contact with this latest case has commenced,” he said.
