NBM Of Africa Doles Out Education Materials To 12 Imo Schools (Photos, Video)

No fewer than 12 primary schools located in Obowo subzone under Okigwe Zonal Chapter of the Neo Black Movement of Africa (NBM) Worldwide have benefitted from the organisation’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) as it doles out notebooks and other education materials.

The donation is one of the series of charity exploits embarked on by the organization across Okigwe zone, Imo state, and Nigeria at large in recent times.

Kicking off the program, president of the Organization, Okigwe Zone Hon. Ejibe Nwachukwu while highlighting the importance of education noted that having well-educated and oriented citizens fast-tracks development in the society.

He further explained that the Neo Black Movement of Africa World-wide remains a Non- Governmental/ Apolitical Organization that has continued to contribute positively and immensely to the developmental course of the society at large.

The Okigwe Zonal president recounted that before this moment, the Organization had donated relief materials to various areas of Imo State, especially places affected by flood disasters.

The Obowo Sub-Zonal Coordinator of the Organization Hon. Ubu Owen Elekwachi while speaking at the event expressed profound joy at the sight of the jubilating benefitting pupils of Obowo.

Further supporting the pro-academic position of the sub-zonal Coordinator, he stated that young children can best fit into fast-developing societies in the world by getting the adequate educational foundation.

He went on to disclose that the Organization remains poised to continuously Service delivery to humanity and its pursuit for Social justice & freedom for all.

The school-to-school donation train reached its climax when the Organization paid a courtesy visit to the Obowo Local Government Area Sole Administrator, His Excellency Pius Uwalem.

The council boss thanked the Organization for their academic-friendly gesture and wasted no time in reminding all present that the betterment of pupils/students’ welfare remains a very important part of the Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma Administration and further admonished all to throw in their support for the Imo Governor in the forthcoming Guber election.

The Obowo Education Secretary Lady Mrs Owo. C.C. also showered encomiums on the Organization, thanking them immensely for considering the plight of parents, and contributing in their own way to the academic development of the People of Obowo.

The Organization received several votes of thanks from beneficiary Headmistresses and pupils of schools in the course of the program.
