The leadership and the entire members of the Neo-Black movement, NBM of Africa Worldwide has joined Nigerians to mourn the death of the Chief of Army Staff; Lt. Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru, and others who died along with him in a plane crash on Friday, May 21, 2021, in Kaduna.
In a statement issued on Sunday by the Public Relations Officer of NBM of Africa, Mr. Oluwatosin Dixon, the group while praying for peaceful repose of the souls of the dead officers also prayed God to give their families fortitude to bear the loss.
Other officers and men of the Nigerian military who died along with the Chief of Army Staff in the crash include, Brig Gen. M.I. Abdulkadir, Brig. Gen. Olayinka, Brig. Gen. Kuliya, Maj. L.A. Hayat, Maj. Hamza, Sgt. Umar, Flt. Lt. T.O. Asaniyi, Flt. Lt. A.A. Olufade, Sgt. Adesina & ACM Oyedepo.

The statement partly read, “We commiserate with families, friends, and colleagues of these heroic officers and men who died in the crash.
“May their souls rest in peace and may Almighty God grant their grieving families and friends the fortitude to bear the immeasurable loss they have suffered.”
