NBM Decries George Floyd’s Death, Wants Justice For Omozuwa, Ezekwe, Others

The Neo-Black Movement of Africa (NBM) Worldwide has expressed sadness over the killing of George Floyd, a 46-year-old black man from Powderhorn, South of Downtown Minneapolis, America by Minneapolis Police officer, Derek Chauvin under the watch of his colleagues.

The group in a release signed by the National President, Chief Felix Kupa, and made available to ABN TV on Thursday also added that the rising cases of racial killings and white supremacy is getting out of hand.

It also decried the recent death of Uwaila Omozuwa, a 22-year-old 100 level student of University of Benin, Edo State, appealing to the Inspector General of Police to thoroughly investigate the matter and bring the perpetrators to book.

It, therefore, called for a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a 17-year-old girl, Tina Ezekwe, who was allegedly killed by two police officers attached to the Bariga Police Station, Lagos, adding that the injustice were too many and glaring to be left with unattended to.
