The Neo Black Movement, NBM, of Africa Worldwide has announced the postponement of its 42nd National Convention & its 16th Annual Lecture of earlier scheduled to hold from 16th-19th April, 2020 at Orchids Hotels Asaba.
A new date will be fixed for the events.
In an internal memo circulated to all members of the organization and signed by Chief Engr Kupa Felix, National Head, NBM Of Africa, Worldwide, this postponement is necessitated by the current global scourge of COVID-19 which it says has been a global nightmare.
The postponement is necessary to safeguard the health and well-being of our members as guests who will attend the event from all over the world.
“A new date for the convention will be made known to members after carrying out periodic and impact assessment in line with global best practices and authorised guidelines.
“As a result, members are strongly encouraged to observe safe health practices and adhere to the preventive measures put in place by governments and healthcare professionals.
“May Olodumare keep us all and our loved ones safe in this difficult times.
“We sincerely apologise for every inconvenience this unavoidable postponement would have caused us.
“We will be keeping members informed on developments as we make progress”, the memo stated.
