Chief Silas Onwe Ebenyi father of the publisher and Managing Editor of NATIONSTRENDS, WAWA Online, all online media, is dead.
Chief Ebenyi died on Monday, February, 14, 2022, otherwise known as VALENTINE’S DAY after a protracted illness at 77 years.
The first son of the deceased, Eugene Ebenyi, Chief Executive Officer of GENOFEX CONSULT, Publishers’ of NATIONSTRENDS and WAWA Online confirmed this in a statement on Friday.
Before his demise, Chief Ebenyi held many leadership positions in the Community, Church, Politics as well as in Social organisations.
He was also a member of Progressive unions and Ngbo/Agila boundary dispute resolution committees.
According to the statement by the publisher, Chief Ebenyi peacefully passed on at Abakaliki after a protracted illness.
The statement reads;
“Dad’s life was that decorated with positive courage, philanthropy, and selfless disposition.
“In many organisations, that ‘Dad’ found himself he was either appointed or elected the helmsman or Treasurer, due to his high level and vouched honesty, and transparency, laced with accountability.
The statement further read:
“In political, Religious, and other Social organisations, he was the SPINDLE.
“As he bows out, we are bold to say that we’ve been thoroughly tutored to live among others but to be independent people whose ways must remain unblemished no matter the threatening arrows.
“For sure! We will keep the flames on!
