The National Population Commission has given updates on the 2023 census.
The Commission said all plans are set to commence building numbering and household listing by April 17, before the actual census exercise kick-starts in May.
It added that five training days for enumerators would commence from April 25 to 30, 2023.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria, the Kwara state Director of NPC, Alhaji Sa’eed Yusuf, disclosed this on Wednesday in Ilorin.
Yusuf said the building numbering and household listing would be conducted nationwide.
He also explained that the training of enumerators for this year’s Census could not take place on the earlier scheduled date, March 31, 2023, due to Logistics problems.
“There will be five days of training for enumerators and supervisors between April 25 and 30 in their respective Local Government Areas for the success of the exercise,” Yusuf said.
