The naira yesterday depreciated to N1,359 per dollar in the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market, NFEM.
However the Naira remained stable at N1,360 per dollar in the parallel market.
Data from the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, showed that the indicative exchange rate for the naira rose to N1,359 per dollar from N1,353.5 per dollar on Monday, reflecting N5.5 depreciation for the naira.
Consequently, the margin between the parallel and official markets reduced to N1 per dollar from N6.5 per dollar on Monday.
