NAFDAC Clarifies Need For Automated Products Registration In Gombe

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, NAFDAC, has intensified efforts to streamline product registration processes, urging stakeholders in Gombe State to adopt its Automated Products Administration and Monitoring System.

During a stakeholders’ forum, NAFDAC’s North-East Coordinator, Kenneth Azikiwe, explained the benefits of the online registration system, emphasizing its role in facilitating faster, more efficient processes while reducing the need for frequent visits to NAFDAC offices.

“The automated registration gives an applicant the opportunity to monitor the registration processes, and know the status of registered products,” said Azikiwe.

NAFDAC has also intensified its campaign on optimal infant and child nutrition and stressed the importance of exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months and continued breastfeeding for two years to support healthy brain development in children.
