The Nigerian Air force lost 2 officers in Ilorin when a trailer driver lost control and crashed the trailer into two officers of the @NigAirForce (NAF), crushing them to death.
The incident, which happened on Wednesday near the Pasa Bridge in Eyenkorin, about 200 meters from the NAF base, raised tensions between the locals and Air Force personnel.
The truck approached the air force checkpoint when the officers were on duty, crushing two of them and injuring another due to a broken break.

After the event, the truck driver made an attempt to flee but was shot in the legs by nearby officers.
