The APC candidate in the recently conducted Aba North/South bye-election, Hon. Mascot Uzor Kalu has denied online publication that he seeks the transfer of his permanent voters card, PVC from Aba to Igbere.
He said there is no truth in such as it is the figment of the imagination of the authors.
In a statement on Tuesday signed by his Media Adviser, Comr. Eme Udochukwu Prince he called on the members of the public to disregard such publication.
The statement partly reads, “The attention of Hon. Mascot Uzor Kalu has been drawn to a fake news making round the social media space of his demand letter to INEC to transfer his voters card from Aba to Igbere in Bende Local Government Area of Abia.
“This news is as fake as the writer itself and only a mere imaginations from the pit of hell as Hon. Mascot Uzor Kalu is still a full registered voter in Aba North and has no intention or plans of transferring his voters card to Igbere.
“Please the general public are advised to disregard and treat such news as fake and a mere distraction from desperate individuals.”
