Abia State governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu says he has no plan to leave the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP for any other party now, saying his people are comfortable with the party.
The Governor spoke on Channels TV’s Sunday Politics monitored by ABN TV where he said dumping the PDP is not part of his immediate plans.
While maintaining that it is too early to conclude the source of the explosive recently found in Union Primary School Umuahia until investigations are concluded, the governor added that there is no cause for panic.

He revealed that plenary investigations show the materials are rusty, implying that they may have been there for a long time.
He said the recent jailbreak in Owerri, the Imo State capital is not unconnected with why the state imposed an indefinite curfew on Aba, Umuahia, Ohafia, and Arochukwu, saying it will help control the influx of the fleeing inmates into the state.
