My Humanitarian Outreach Has Not Tribal, Political Boundary — Founder Enyioma Foundation [VIDEO]

The Founder of the Enyioma Foundation International, Dr. Enyioma Duke Atulomah says his humanitarian campaign and philanthropy have no ethnic, political, or religious boundary, saying it is for all.

He said reach the foundation is set of to enhance the livelihood of the vulnerable in society especially those who have no access to social media to vent out their concerns.

Speaking with ABN TV on Friday in Umuahia, the capital of Abia State, he said, “What we do is reach out to the vulnerable in the society. We have kids who are unable to go to school, mothers in need who may be based in the villages, patients unable to offset their hospital bills, and also people who have business ideas but have no funds. We have managed to set up two people. I’ve been doing this and this foundation was founded in July 2021. The essence of setting the foundation is to reach out to those who are unable to reach out on Facebook.”

While emphasizing that charity begins at home, Atulomah said adequate attention will be paid to those who live around the location of the foundation, whether Yoruba, Igbo, or Hausa.

According to him, there’s no politics in reaching out to people who are in need, noting that he wants to reach people who are not on social media.

The Abia-born philanthropist made it clear that the Enyioma Foundation is not about just empowerment, but ensuring that a positive impact is made on beneficiaries.

Atulomah who works with the Nigeria High Commission in the United Kingdom and also in Real Estate revealed that having targeted two to three thousand people in 2023, he was targeting three to four thousand people in 2024 with a sizeable annual budget.

He asserted that the targeted beneficiaries are in tertiary, secondary, and primary schools and so have diverse monetary benefits at all levels.

When asked how beneficiaries can qualify for the scholarship or empowerment, the diplomat said; “I have a policy. Once names are selected, we do a background check and if the individual is qualified, we move into action. Secondly, in secondary school, we organize competitions, and if an individual passes through the phases then we empower them. But it must be on merit.

“But also knowing that there are naturally brilliant people who can neither read nor write, we assess them through other means.”

Atulomah called on partners, individuals, and organizations who might want to partner with the organization to join them and uplift the people out of hardship.

“At the moment, the Enyioma Foundation is on its own. We don’t have partners yet but we are willing to partner with any individual and organization who are willing without any selfish reasons.

“In five years, I wish that the foundation be nationwide. I pray that God will keep providing the resources that I will use to run the foundation. My vision is that in the next five years, the foundation will be cited on its structures.”
