The newly appointed coordinator for FADAMA project in Abia State, Pastor Ibe Johnson has expressed gratitude over his appointment by Governor Okezie Ikpeazu.

Speaking with ABN TV, the new Abia FADAMA boss said his leadership will be the birth of a new era for Rice, maize, cassava farmers, and others in the state.

The Umuahia North born farming expert stated that under his leadership, there will be a paradigm shift from training to empowerment of farmers.

He expressed readiness to work with Fadama staff in the state as well as farmers groups to achieve the aim of the project.

He assured that he would deploy his years of experience in the management of a new Fadama project.
