Engr. Orji Ndukwe, the chairman Orji Uzor Kalu Movement Abia State, political support group of Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu, the leader of opposition in Abia State has been appointed by the state governor, Okezie Ikpeazu as the General Manager of Abia State Road Maintenance Agency, ABROMA.
In a chat with ABN TV on Tuesday, while pledging to give his best in the service of the state, he said it’s a right step in the right direction.
He assured that he will commit to the repair and maintenance of roads across Abia as a way of ensuring their durability in line with the mandate of his office.
Engr. Ndukwe who had earlier held same portfolio said as Abians, it is a responsibility for citizens to discharge their civic obligations and contribute to the growth of the state, adding that as one who has the capacity, he will give his best.
He reiterated to his commitment to once again be part of the service of the state.
He however declined comment on his reason for dumping his former boss, Chief Whip of the Senate, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, saying he will not comment on it now.
