Less than 14 hours after he was declared wanted by Lagos State Police Command, singer, Owodunni Ibrahim (aka Primeboy) has turned himself up to the force.
Presently, Primeboy is in police detention at the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department ( SCIID) facing interrogation .
He was declared wanted by the Police Wednesday and a N1 million bounty was placed on him in connection with the alleged murder of 27years old fast-rising Afrobeat singer, Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as MohBad.
The Police, said that declaring Primeboy wanted was part of investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of Mohbad.
Lagos State Police Public Relation Officer (PPRO), SP Benjamin Hundeyin in a statement yesterday,said having declared him wanted, Owodunmi Ibrahim Oluwatosin (aka Primeboy)has turned himself in. He has immediately been taken into custody for interrogation and other necessary actions.
” The Lagos State Police Command,once again assures family, friends,fans of Mohbad and the general public that no stone will be left unturned in ensuring a most deligent investigation.The Command equally assures that all persons found culpable in the death of Ilerioluwa Aloba will be brought to justice”.
Primeboy ,was declared wanted after failure to honour police invitation which was successfully sent to him since the commencement of inquest into the circumstances surrounding the death of Mohbad,” for that reason,the Lagos State Police Command, hereby, declares him wanted”.
As at press time, the officer incharge of the homicide section of SCIID, Mr Onyisi was having a chat with Primeboy who was said to be complying with investigation.
Three prominent artists, Naira Marley, Sammy Larry and Primeboy have so far been invited for questioning by the police, while a nurse is equally in the police cell .
