Mazi Chibuike Jonas has been elected the governorship candidate of Action Democratic Party (ADP) in Abia State ahead of the 2023 general elections.
He was adopted the party’s consensus candidate in Umuahia on Thursday following a motion moved by Comrade Njoku Stephen and seconded by Comrade Uche.
At the party’s convention at its secretariat, 17 LGA chairmen were also present.
In his acceptance speech he said being in the race is by God’s Grace and he is for everyone not for Selfish Interest.
He also stated that the country has been badly managed, bad roads, infastructure etc. “As Gods own state being here today is destined by God,” he said.
He assured that he will make the payment of salary a priority and ensure accelerated development of the State.
“Let’s work together as one to bring back Sanity in the State, I will prove to Abians that there is a whole lot of money in this state“.
