We developed a fantastic working relationship.
Any person who had the chance of meeting with Professor Ikonne, would agree, he was a rare gem.

On behalf of my humble self, family and political associates, we condole with the immediate family of Prof Uchenna Ikonne, the Abia state PDP family and the entire Ndi Abia for this great loss.

We pray for the repose of his soul and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss to the family, friends and associate of the erudite academician turned political icon.”
