A Chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Abia State, Mayor Lucky Igbokwe (Don Lulu) has sent a message of goodwill, wishing the party’s governorship candidate, Prof. Uche Ikonne a quick recovery.
Igbokwe, the Youth Ambassador of the Uche-Ndi-Abia Campaign Organization expressed hope that Prof. Ikonne will fully recover and return as the campaigns for the number one seat in the state continues.
The state Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu while featuring as a guest on Flo 94.9 FM audience participatory programme on Monday had alluded that the party’s governorship candidate is indisposed at the moment.

In a statement issued on Tuesday. Igbokwe said he was buoyed by the reassuring comments from Governor Ikpeazu, “that Prof Ikonne has left the hospital where he was receiving medical attention and he’s recovering gradually and progressively”.
Mayor Igbokwe wished the Abia PDP flag bearer a quick recovery while stating that things are not the same with the absence of Professor Ikonne.
He also reiterated his commitment and that of the entire Ekwerem Ekwe Political Organization to ensure the victory of Prof Ikonne and the PDP at the forthcoming general elections in February and March.
