The Abia State governorship candidate of Action People Party, APP, Hon. Mascot Uzor-Kalu on Thursday paid a surprise visit to the corporate office of ABN TV and Radio in Umuahia, the Abia State capital.
He was accompanied by his aides and some political associates.
The former Abia Chief of Staff was in the city for some political engagements where he also decided to use the opportunity to exchange a handshake with his long-time friend, Ifeanyi Okali, the Director of Fakzy Media Ltd, owners of ABN TV and Radio.
He commended the media outlet for its professionalism and objectivity in reportage, saying it has no political biases.
Mascot also called on other media outlets to emulate ABN TV and radio.
Welcoming him, Mr. Okali thanked him for the visit, wishing him success in his political endeavours.
He pledged that the media organization will continue to observe sound ethical values in the service of the people.
