The Danish forward Chido Obi-Martin has been included in Man-U’s first team as their third striker after Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Højlund.
According to a post on Fabrizio Romano’s X handle on Wednesday, the 16-year-old is expected to get some minutes going into the current campaign.
The move by Manchester United is apt considering the current form of its strikers, who are yet to get up and running, with just one Premier League goal scored by Zirkee so far after six Premier League matches.
Obi-Martin made headlines in November 2023 when he found the net 10 times for Arsenal’s U16s in a 14-3 win over Liverpool.
In total, the Denmark under-17 international scored 32 goals in 24 appearances at youth team level for Arsenal last season and trained with the first team.
