Man Dies After Penis Enlargement Goes Wrong

After performing a botched penis enlargement procedure that killed his patient after months of misery, a man posing as a cosmetic surgeon was sentenced to five years in prison.

Torben K. 46, a catering worker from Solingen, Germany, had injected silicone oil into the patient’s manhood and scrotum during a ‘girth increasing’ treatment.

On August 28, judges in Wuppertal District Court sentenced him to prison for inflicting death by grievous bodily harm.

The 32-year-old victim, who was not identified in court, died of sepsis in July 2019, seven months after the agonizing operation.

The court heard how the phony doctor lacked medical credentials and advertised his penis augmentation services online.

He allegedly performed the surgeries at his house in Solingen.

According to the victim’s 29-year-old sister, her brother had reservations about the treatment until Torben K. persuaded him to proceed.

However, instead of gaining a larger member, the sufferer began experiencing breathing difficulties as soon as he got home from the procedure.

He was sent to many hospitals but died as a result of blood poisoning, and liver and renal failure.

Prosecutors say he was in a specialty intensive care unit for months before dying in February 2020.

Meanwhile, investigations revealed that the restaurant worker had given the same life-threatening injections to a second guy in March of this year.

Torben K., on the other hand, declined to reveal the type of silicone oil used in the operations when questioned.

‘Unfortunately, the silicone oil got up in the person’s bloodstream,’ said High State Prosecutor Wolf-Tilman Baumert.

‘This resulted in significant health issues and, ultimately, his death.’

Torben K. argued in court that he had merely done what the patient requested.

‘The fact that the man requested the treatment is irrelevant from our perspective,’ Baumert added. The defendant committed heinous crimes.’

The verdict is not yet legally enforceable.

Despite the hazards, liquid silicone injections for genital enlargement have been used for years.

They function by inducing the body’s immune system to respond to the foreign substance by producing a thick mass known as a granuloma.

In principle, this enhances the size and thickness of the injected tissue, giving men the larger genitalia they desire.

However, due to the substantial hazards involved, this cosmetic treatment is prohibited in the United Kingdom.

One of the most serious hazards is a disorder known as siliconoma.

Following the injection, a strong inflammatory reaction to the silicone ensues in the tissues, which must then be removed.

The only remedy is usually surgery to remove the silicone, but the harm is often permanent.
