A dramatic incident unfolded on Monday morning in the Osusu by Faulks Road area of Aba, Abia State, as a man raised an alarm, alleging the sudden disappearance of his manhood after collecting ₦100 from a stranger.
The shocking claim quickly attracted a large crowd, sparking chaos and confusion. The stranger accused of the alleged act faced mob action, with enraged residents beating him and threatening to set him ablaze.
However, officers of the Nigeria Police Force intervened just in time, dispersing the crowd with tear gas and preventing further violence.
Reports suggest that amidst mounting pressure from the crowd, the accused individual performed alleged incantations, after which the victim claimed his manhood was restored.
To confirm the claim, the man was taken to a nearby brothel, where it was reportedly verified that his manhood was fully functional.
The incident underscores the persistent belief in supernatural occurrences in some communities, often leading to mob justice without concrete evidence. Police have yet to comment further on the matter.
