Malami Next Governor Of Kebbi, Says Sani Zauro

The Chairman, All Progressives Congress (APC) Elders’ Forum in Kebbi State, Sani Zauro, has disclosed that Governor Abubakar Bagudu will hand over power to the current Minister of Justice/Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubukar Malami, in 2023.

Announcing this during the Birnin Kebbi Local Council congress of APC, at the weekend, Zauro said the decision became necessary due to the achievement of the APC government in the state and at the national level.

“Governor Bagudu has assured us that Malami is the best candidate that will succeed him, and we are also in support of that because Malami has done a lot to the people of Kebbi,” he added.

Zauro also directed the Minister of Justice to inform President Muhammadu Buhari that Bagudu delivered the dividends of democracy to Kebbi people by providing jobs and other means of survival.

“We are satisfied with the new leadership of the party, and anybody who failed to join our movement should leave the party or if you file a court case against us, we are going to remove or sack you from the party,” he added.
