LP, PDP Accuse INEC Of Compromising Election Results

Due to a failure to post the results to its results portal, three political parties have accused the Independent National Electoral Commission of tampering with Saturday’s presidential election.

According to DAILY POST, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Labour Party, and Action Democratic Party jointly held a press conference and presented the claims.

Yakubu Mahmood allegedly influenced the election, according to the Chairman of LP, Julius Abure, the INEC chairman.

He called for the resignation of Mahmood.

“The results announced by INEC showed a monumental disparity between the monitored by our party agents and Nigerians across polling units.”

“Refusal of INEC to comply with the process of the election has compromised the credibility of the election.”

“We, therefore, state that INEC compromise the election before the collation began”, he said.
