A husband and father, Mr. Patrick Ufere has said the period of restriction of movements across the country to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) may miraculously be the answered prayer many families who are in search of fruit of the womb are looking for.

He also said it has provided millions of families the opportunity to develop a strong bond.

In a chat with ABN TV on Thursday, Mr. Ufere a staff of Abia State Polytechnic emphasised that due to tight work and academic schedules, parents, children and other family members do not enjoy quality time with each other at home.

According to him, apart from assisting his wife with domestic chores, the lockdown period has drawn him more closer to his children, enabling him to understand their character and capabilities, their strengths and weaknesses.

Mr. Ufere said what appeared like a pandemic has now turned out to be a blessing in disguise for families to achieve peace and unity.

He appealed to Nigerians to adhere to the instruction of government on the restriction of movements especially since the cure for COVID-19 is not yet known.
