Lifeless Body Of Young Lady Found In Umuahia Major Road (Photo)

The corpse of a lady suspected to be about 25 years of age has been recovered in Umuahia Abia state capital.

ABN TV reports that her lifeless body was sighted around Madonna hospital Aba road Umuahia in the early hours of Monday.

Her name and address could not be ascertained as no means of identification was found in her custody.

She is believed to have been knocked by a hit-and-run vehicle.

Her body has since been evacuated by the security agencies to the Federal Medical Centre Umuahia where an autopsy is expected to be conducted to ascertain the real cause of her death.

A policeman who was in the evacuation team told ABN TV that a discrete investigation has commenced.

All efforts to reach the PPRO of Abia state police command, SP Geoffrey Ogbonna for a comment proved abortive.
