Lifeless Body Found in Front of Market Square In Umuahia (Photos)

A disturbing scene unfolded in Umuahia, Abia State, as a lifeless body was discovered at a shop opposite Market Square.

According to reports gathered by ABN TV, the woman’s body has been lying there since morning, with no intervention or removal until 4:10 pm on August 1, 2024.

The circumstances surrounding the woman’s death and identity remain unknown, sparking concerns and questions among locals and authorities. The prolonged presence of the body in a public area raises concerns about safety, security, and emergency response in the region.

When contacted by ABN TV, the police stated that they are aware of the situation and are waiting for the health authorities from the Local Government (Umuahia North) to evacuate the body. However, as of the time of filing this report, the body remains at the scene, and the cause of her death has not been disclosed.
