An entertainment entrepreneur and CEO KeduTV, Amb. Lucky Igbokwe better known as Don Lulu has urged youths in Abia State and South East, in general, to shun the orgy of destructions of public facilities and attacks on public properties in the region, saying it is inimical to the growth and development of Ala Igbo.
Don Lulu who is also the Managing Director 2flame called on young people in the region to sheath their swords and have a rethink.
Mayor Lucky Igbokwe, a United Nations Mayor of Peace said now is the time for youths to ponder over the current situation around the region and think about the future.

In an emotional word, Don Lulu appealed that gains made in the region particularly in the area of peacebuilding and infrastructure should not be destroyed.
He said, “Today, I ask my fellow youth, who is going to benefit from the destruction of institutions that are established to secure our people?
“Five decades after the civil war ended when our parents had managed to make meaningful progress from the ruins of the war, the little infrastructure we have, we are destroying.
“The peace we are known for, has become a scarce commodity..
“The bloodshed we have wiped off our minds has resumed flow on our soil?
“Why??????
“Our aged are in panic, our children are confused and in fear.
“I ask again to what end are we bent on destroying our land?
“The issues of marginalization and nepotism are well established against the Igbo in today’s Nigeria.
“However, our victory must not come in us turning against our collective future.. our victory will come through consistent and very difficult negotiations and renegotiations that must take place.
“The memories of forebears will not and must not be revisited through violence..
“With one voice we demand our equity but be rest assured that we cannot achieve the equity we want by wielding AK 47s on our streets.
“Biko, umunne m na umunna m, endeavour to sheath your sword. Let’s resolve to tow the path of peaceful negotiations, protect our land and heritage. Restore peace in our land.
“What we are seeing on the streets of Abia today cannot be a sustainable path to equity and justice.
“Say NO to violence!
“SHEATH YOU SWORD, MY GREAT ABIA YOUTH.”
