Fleet Officer
Job Description:
- As a Fleet Officer, you will play a critical role in providing support for the implementation of transport policies and processes by participating in planning and coordinating the movement of raw materials supplies to the plant and cement products to distribution centres or customers’ retail locations.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and supervise day-to-day activities of company truck drivers, loading, dispatches, and deliveries.
- Ensure availability and effective utilization of company assets through truck tracking, monitoring, and control.
- Coordinate timely, accurate, and safe delivery of cement to depots/customers.
- Develop servicing and maintenance schedule of equipment.
- Monitor the quality, timeliness, and suitability of equipment maintenance practices.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures.
- Develop and submit reports of truck status to the superior.
- Ensure recovery of AGO for short kilometres.
- Ensure all accidents and related issues are reported on time.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of Transport.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in logistics management.
Skills & Competencies:
- Ability to adapt to changes in procedures, technologies, or work environments.

Weighbridge Operations Officer
Job Description:
- Manage the process of weighing of inbound and outbound trucks on weighbridge system and maintain the associated records.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Weigh incoming trucks at entry/exit point, ensure accuracy of relevant details in the appropriate module, depending on the product to be weighed.
- Provide a Weigh –In Ticket indicating gross weight or offloading advice indicating net weight.
- Receive Waybill from truck driver, retain final copy of waybill for further proceedings.
- Provide daily reports of activities, highlighting unresolved issues for the attention of Weighbridge Supervisor.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.
- Direct traffic coming onto site and operate weighbridge.
- Accurately record weights and completing appropriate documentation and collect driver Identification
- Immediately report any contamination or non-conforming wastes delivered to site to the appropriate Manager.
- Report any anomalies/errors to the weighbridge system to the appropriate people immediately
- Ensure weighbridge users are aware of site rules and distribute information and guidance accordingly.

Senior Officer, ICOFR
Job Description:
- Ensuring compliance with the ICFR including certification by Directors and External Auditors.
Job Summary:
- Ensure the implementation of effective controls in all business processes, operations, and systems, to ensure transparency and promote good corporate governance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Demonstrable experience in implementing Internal Control over Financial Reporting is mandatory.
- Develop a local plan for continuous monitoring and evaluation of ICFR.
- Liaise with all departments to ensure that all periodic controls are complied with.
- Coordinates the testing of controls by Directors for the purpose of certification in the Financial reports.
- Maintain a dashboard for all ICFR controls that fail internal testing for Directors certification and follow up with responsible departments to ensure swift remediation.
- Coordinates the testing of controls by external auditors for the purpose of certification in the Financial reports.
- Maintain a dashboard for all controls that fail internal testing for External Auditors certification and follow up with responsible departments to ensure swift remediation.
- Come up with compensating controls for controls that fail testing and are not remediated by the end of the reporting period.
- Support departments in performing key ICFR controls where there are staff shortages or knowledge gaps.
- Ensure that evidence for controls performed is properly filed/archived and readily available for testing by Directors and external auditors.
- Supervise Country ICFR officers in the region.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A first degree in Accounting or any related discipline
- A master’s degree in Accounting is or MBA would be an added advantage
Professional Qualification:
- Minimum of Associate Level Membership of the following professional bodies is a MUST: Certified Institute of Auditors (CIA), Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA).
Desired Experience and Competencies:
- Minimum of 9 years’ Financial and Operational Audit work experience.
- Big 4, Global corporate or international work experience is a distinct advantage.
- Experience across multiple industries/markets e.g. Manufacturing, Energy, Utilities etcetera. International work experience is an added advantage.
- Good understanding of Financial Controls.
- Good knowledge and understanding of finance best practices, IFRS and other applicable accounting standards.
- Familiarity with common indicators of fraud and error
- Working knowledge of accounting packages and systems, including SAP.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
