Late Grace Ifekwe Set For Burial Dec. 8 In Ohafia [See Poster]

Arrangements are ongoing for the final burial of late Nneoma (Mrs) Grace Ifekwe who died May 28, 2023 after a brief illness at Federal Medical Centre Umuahia.

She hails from Ndi Ukpo, Ekeluogo Ebem Ohafia in Ohafia local government area of Abia State where she will be laid to rest on December 8.

A burial arrangement released on behalf of the family by Uchechukwu Ifekwe said a sing song will be held in her honour on Monday, December 4 by EODU Umuahia branch at her residence, Ezeogbulafor street Umuahia.

Pentecostal Church of Nigeria will also hold a sing song in her honour at the same venue on Tuesday, December 5.

On Thursday 7th December 2023 at 1pm, her body will leave Madonna Hospital’s mortuary Aba Road Umuahia for a brief stopover at her residence, 21 Ezeogbulafor Street Umuahia before going to St. Peter’s PCN Umuahia Parish, 17 Abiriba Street for commendation service.

Her body will thereafter depart for her home town Ebem Ohafia and a brief stopover at Ndi Uzubi and Ndi Ukpo for her paternal & marital relatives’ confirmation of her corpse before lying in state at her residence.

At 6pm, a wake-keep at her residence in Ebem Ohafia will commence.

On Friday 8th December 2023 at 10.am, a Funeral service will be held in her honour by St. Peter’s PCN Umuahia Parish.

She will thereafter be laid to rest at her residence.

Reception will be at Ebem Primary School Premises (Within the church compound) while on Sunday 10th December 2023, a thanksgiving Service will take place at st. Peter’s PCN Ebem-Oha Parish, Ebem Ohafia.
