Lagos Lovers Arrested For Physical Assault On Woman’s Children

The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of a couple for allegedly battering their two children aged five and two.

The woman identified as Busola Oyediran and her lover, Akebiara Emmanuel, were arrested on Friday following reports by concerned neighbours.

The neighbours had alerted the police over the constant physical abuse of the minors by their biological mother and her partner.

Following the report, the police stormed the home of the couple in the Egbeda/Idimu area of the state and arrested them.

When confronted, Busola denied the allegation that she brutalised her children, saying they fell from the motorcycle and suffered serious injuries.
