The governor conveyed his message in a brief statement shared on his official X handle on Saturday.

“I congratulate Christians in Kwara State and across Nigeria on the Easter celebrations,” the governor stated.

He called on the Christian faithful to embrace the virtues of Easter, drawing lessons from the Holy Week, which he described as central to the Christian faith.

Highlighting the core message of hope and triumph embedded in the Easter narrative, Abdulrazaq emphasised the power of faith and perseverance.

He added, “The triumph of Jesus Christ in the face of adversity, which Easter symbolises, should drive our belief in God and the endless possibilities that come with having unshakeable faith in His power.

He concluded with a prayerful wish for the season to bring peace and joy to all homes across Kwara State and beyond.

“I pray that the Easter period brings endless joy and happiness to every home in the state and beyond. Happy Easter celebrations”, the governor concluded.
