Babayo Liman, the NNPP’s Bauchi State Coordinator and a member of presidential candidate Rabiu Kwankwaso’s campaign council, has switched to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Liman announced his switch to the PDP yesterday at a news conference in Bauchi.
The NNPP North-East Zonal Secretary claimed he left the organization because it lacked the organization needed to win elections.
“I want to formally announce that I have resigned as a member of the NNPP to the general public, especially members of the NNPP in Bauchi State, the North-East, and Nigeria generally,” he stated.
“I have also resigned from my positions as the North-East Zonal Secretary, a member, and the Presidential Campaign Council’s coordinator for Dr. Rabiu Kwnkwaso of the NNPP.”
