Kuwait Sporting Club Unveil Former Super Eagles Captain Mikel

Former Super Eagles captain, John Obi Mikel, has been unveiled by Kuwait Sporting Club.

The club shared the video of his unveiling on social media, confirming that the 34-year-old will wear his preferred number 12 shirt.

Mikel Obi joins the Kuwait team on a one-year deal from English Championship side, Stoke City.

“I’m delighted to be here with the Club and can’t wait to get started,” the former Chelsea midfielder said in the short clip.

Mikel Obi will be expected to help his new club challenge for the Kuwait Premier League title this season.
