Kogi Women Go Spiritual, Reject Election Results

Some women in Kogi Central have taken to the streets to protest what they call “injustice” in the district’s senatorial election results.

The women in a white ritual demonstration urged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to do justice to their votes and declare Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan as Senator-elect in video clips obtained by TRIBUNE ONLINE.

According to TRIBUNE ONLINE, the white ritual is performed at sacred times to summon the ancestral spirits of war against those who cheat or cause harm to the land.
