Kidnappers Allegedly Holding Abia Victim’s Car After Payment Of N2.4m Ransom In Imo (Photos)

Suspected kidnappers are allegedly holding a Toyota Corolla car with registration number LSD554DD, Engine number IZZ8222064 and chassis number 2TIBR32E95C901096 belonging to their victim Kenneth Umuezurike.

The Ikwuano, Abia State born victim who lives in Ilorin Kwara state was abducted on Wednesday 14th of April on his way from Ilorin to Umuahia Abia State and was kindnapped along Orlu/Anara road in Imo State.

Reports say he was accosted by the gun-toting abductors at about 7pm who took him away in their own car.

They were said to have drove Mr. Umuezurike’s staff who travelled along with him with his own car.

The kidnappers were said to have forcefully collected the victim’s ATM card and made a withdrawal of #1,457,000, the total sum of money in the account.

They further demanded for additional #1,000,000 which was paid.

All the victims were later released while the said Toyota Corolla car is still with the kidnappers.

He therefore appeals to anyone with useful information on whereabout of the vehicle to make such available to the nearest police station.
