Chief Kelvin Jombo described the effort as a symbolic act of honour and gratitude, calling Rt. Hon. Kalu “a true patriot, a shining light from Abia, and a man of the people.” He noted that the street feeding exercise reflects the values of selfless leadership and grassroots connection that Rt. Hon. Kalu embodies.

Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu has remained a voice for the voiceless and a leader who connects with the people. Through this initiative, we’re not only celebrating his life but extending his spirit of generosity to those who need it most,” Jombo said.

The event, powered by the Kelvin Jombo Foundation, is expected to make a strong impact and foster goodwill across Umuahia and beyond.
