Nigerian international Victor Osimhen continues to be the subject of intense transfer speculation, with Italian Serie A powerhouse Juventus set to up the ante, following his successful loan spell with Turkish Super Lig giants Galatasaray, according to PUNCH Sports Extra.
The Old Lady are one of three clubs who have registered concrete interest in the 26-year-old Super Eagles hitman, who scored an astonishing 37 goals and provided eight assists from 41 matches across all competitions to help Okan Buruk’s side claim both the Turkish Super Lig crown and the Turkish Cup title in what was a memorable double.
Reports indicate that the Bianconeri had made a move to get the striker before the start of the transfer window, in a bid to bolster their attack lines under permanent manager Igor Tudor for the upcoming season.
Former sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli led the negotiations at that point but with new director Damien Comolli now at the helm, the Turin-based outfit have doubled efforts regarding their pursuit of Osimhen.
