A fire outbreak was recorded this morning at the headquarters of the Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST) in Abuja.
An eyewitness said the fire incident occurred when a large number of staff of the agency were in their offices.
The fire which has been put out by firefighters affected the second floor of the NIPOST building located in the Garki area of the city.
The Cable reported that before the arrival of firefighters, residents and staff were seen throwing things including stones at the building in a bid to put out the fire.

This is happening barely a week after all members of staff of the agency were directed to resume work.
