In commemoration of the country’s June 12 democracy day, Family Love 99.9fm Umuahia has announced a special programme tagged, ‘HEROES OF OUR DEMOCRACY’
The Station Manager, Chris Owui in a statement on Tuesday said the event will be celebrating distinguished individuals who have contributed enormously to the growth and sustenance of democracy in Abia and Nigeria in general.
According to Owui, “The project aims to bring the undying flame of democracy to the hearts of the people by recognizing and appreciating the efforts of the individuals in Abia State and beyond who have personally sacrificed for the cause.
“As Heroes of our democracy, the voices of these distinguished individuals can inspire and motivate countless others to stand up for democracy and it’s values.
“The persons are chosen after several nominations from fans and an unbiased and independent selection process.”
