Joy As Hon. Promise Okoro Pays Students’ WAEC Fees In Bende

The Deputy Chairman of Bende Local Government Area, Hon. Promise Uzoma Okoro has brought joy to families of two female SS3 students of Seat of Wisdom Secondary School, Item in Bende local government area of Abia State when he took up the responsibility of paying their 2021 WAEC fees.

This is in appreciation for their outstanding performances at the school’s Inter-House Sports Competition.

The Deputy Chairman who witnessed the occasion was accompanied by the Councilor representing the people of Item Ward C in Bende Legislative Council, Hon. Uka Charles Chinonso.

Hon. Okoro was the Special Guest of Honor and Chairman of the Inter-House Sports Event which held at the School’s Sports Field.

Speaking at the occasion, Hon. Promise commended the management and teachers of the school for the peaceful Inter-House Sports competition.

He also appreciated the students for their sound performances and adviced them to continue with that effort and never to take such School activities for granted.

Highlights of the event was saluting of the Special Guest of Honor and Chairman of the occasion by the Sports Houses during their Match past and singing of the National and State Anthems led by the Deputy Chairman and the Chairman of the occasion, Hon. Okoro.
