The Senior Special Assistant to the Abia State Governor on Entertainment and Tourism, Hon. Dr. Martins Okey Justice popularly known as J Martins, has extended heartfelt condolences to Mayor Lucky Igbokwe (Don Lulu) over the death of his beloved mother, Dame Peace Onyekwulechi Igbokwe, who passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the age of 60.

In a condolence message personally signed and issued from his office, the popular Nigerian singer Dr. Justice described the late Dame Igbokwe as a God-fearing, humble, and virtuous woman who lived an exemplary Christian life that touched many, including himself.

“It is with deep sorrow that the Office of the Governor (SSA on Entertainment and Tourism) received the sad news of the passing of your dear mother. Losing a mother is one of life’s greatest pains, as she remains the pillar of love, strength, and guidance,” he stated.

Dr. Justice, who maintained a close friendship with Mayor Igbokwe and the entire Igbokwe family, said the late Dame Peace Igbokwe would be remembered for her kindness, humility, and unwavering faith in God.

“She was a God-fearing woman, very down to earth, and an amazing Christian mother to all, including myself,” he added.

He prayed for God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the painful loss and for the soul of the departed matriarch to rest in perfect peace.

“We pray that the good Lord will give you the strength to bear this great loss,” the message concluded.
