Tau is in buoyant mood after winning the CAF Champions League title with Egyptian giants Al Ahly.
The former Brighton & Hove Albion player has now sets his sights on representing his country at the World Cup.

“I’m looking forward to it, and I want to qualify for the World Cup with South Africa, Tau told African Football.
“Against Nigeria and Zimbabwe, it won’t be easy, but we’ll try to get a result away from home because they’ll always be difficult and we lost to them at the AFCON 2023 tournament, so we have to try something this time.”
Hugo Broos’ side will be up against the Super Eagles at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Friday.
The former African champions will entertain the Warriors of Zimbabwe at the Free State Stadium, Blomfeintein four days later.
