IPOB Suspends Kanu, Explains Why

Kingsley Kanu, the younger brother of IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu, has been suspended by the Indigenous People of Biafra.

Kanu was allegedly suspended by IPOB for serving its interests against them.

Collins Chinedu, the organization’s national coordinator in Germany, signed a statement announcing his suspension.

According to the statement, Kanu engaged in a number of anti-IPOB operations intended to defame the organization in Germany.

The separatist organization charged Kanu with disobedience, establishing a second leadership in Germany, and breaking IPOB’s code of conduct.

IPOB emphasized that Kingsley Kanu was merely a regular member of the organization in Germany and claimed the accuser was taking advantage of his connection to the organization’s head to obtain an “unmerited special advantage.”

Kanu, according to IPOB, was considering himself superior to all group norms.

The statement read, “With effect from today, January 21, 2023, the lPOB leadership in Germany unanimously suspends Kingsley indefinitely from the family of IPOB in Germany led by Nnamdi Kanu.

With the express purpose of causing discord within the German political system, IPOB charged Kingsley with “imposing and parading an expelled IPOB member, Ogbenna Abraham as the new National Coordinator in Germany.”

Kingsley needs to understand that the Biafra battle transcends any individual’s connection to its leader, Kanu, according to the group.

Therefore, IPOB stated, “Mr. Kingsley Kanu must be informed that subsequent infractions of the code of conduct will have serious legal repercussions.”
