The leader of the autopilot faction of ESN, Simon Ekpa has been arrested by the International Police popularly called INTERPOL.
According to Gistdigest, he was arrested at Finland International Airport whilst trying to escape to Israel.
Simon Ekpa a separatist agitator in response to the report posted a video of himself driving on Friday, 16th December 2022, saying he was not arrested.

He accused one newspaper reporter of spreading rumour about his arrest.
“Somebody from Germany, all these Nigerian criminals in Germany are giving you information about Simon Ekpa,” he said.
He vowed that God will use him to end Nigeria, “evil Nigeria that is committing crime, that are known for crimes and terrorism,” he said.
He also expressed anger over the alleged starving of IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu by the officials of DSS where he has been in custody since last year.
The family of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has also made available the sum of N1m to be used for his feeding.
In addition, Simon Ekpa said the IPOB family will henceforth be making available the sum of N2m for feeding of their detained leader.
According to him, the decision to make it N2m is to take care of the amount that will be allegedly pilfered, appealing that Nnamdi Kanu should henceforth not be starved.
