Our correspondent gathered that the Foundation had initially come to aid of Mr. Odinaka Nweke, an indigene of lkwo in Ebonyi state, and took him to India for surgery following his cry for help to help save his life.
Our source disclosed that Emmanuel, who was admitted in March for an operation to remove the stomach tumor, also has a hole in his heart.
Four heart surgeries were performed on Emmanuel. The surgery was said to have cost the Foundation over 14 million naira.
The Foundation in March this year appealed to its members to donate money so that the doctors can proceed with the stomach cancer surgery as the money meant to fund the treatment was used to treat Emmanuel heart disease.
