Four heart surgeries were performed on Emmanuel. The surgery was said to have cost the Foundation over 14 million naira.

The Foundation in March this year appealed to its members to donate money so that the doctors can proceed with the stomach cancer surgery as the money meant to fund the treatment was used to treat Emmanuel heart disease.
