In My Time, Restructuring Will Be Accomplished, Atiku Assures South West Voters

Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) presidential candidate, promised that the South West region’s long-requested restructuring would be carried out during his presidency.

On Thursday, Atiku addressed tens of thousands of fans who had gathered at Mapo Hall in Ibadan, Oyo State, to hear him speak.

When speaking to the crowd during the PDP campaign in the state, the former vice president promised that if elected in May of this year, he would enact the country’s long-requested restructuring.

Even though the people in the area have been clamoring for it, Atiku claimed that the current federal government has failed to reconstruct the nation.

He informed the audience that the reform he would implement would give states and local governments more authority.

“I’ll reformulate Nigeria. During my presidency, the nation will be restructured. By restructuring, we mean giving the states and local government units more authority and control.

It will be a cornerstone of my administration.

Vote for PDP so that the two of us can work toward improvement, he said.
