Imo now to enjoy dividends of focused, efficient leadership – Hon. Kalu

The member representing Bende federal constituency, Hon. Benjamin has described as the beginning of era of enjoyment of dividends of focused and efficient leadership the Tuesday declaration of Sen. Hope Uzodinma of APC as the duly elected governor of Imo state by the Supreme Court.

The federal lawmaker in a congratulatory message to the incoming governor emphasized that the peaceful resolution of the various gubernatorial aspirations by the judiciary is indeed testament to the growth of Nigeria’s democracy.

Hon. Kalu who is also the Chairman House Committee on Media and Public Affairs while urging the governor to form a joint effort with the people of Imo state in his leadership irrespective of their political affiliation stated that the hopes and future of Imo State now depends on his vision.

The Supreme Court on Tuesday ended the about seven month stay of former Governor Emeka Ihedioha at the Government House and ordered the immediate swearing in of Sen. Uzodinma as the duly elected governor of the state in the 2019 gubernatorial election.
